Today in Jefferson City, MO there was a hostage situation across from the Governor's mansion.
The good news, the Jefferson City Police have cleared an office building where there was a hostage taken. the workers can go back to work now in their offices.
Now Official say there was never a hostage situation -- it was a false alarm.
The police was there for several hours, searched the floors and found nothing? Interesting...
How did this happen?
Capt Mike Smith of the Jefferson City PD calls it a potential false alarm. A woman in the building “thought” she heard over the intercom “hostage”. She called the building’s security, they called police, police called SWAT, helicopters, and snipers.
