According to the Associated Content, New Mexico soccer player Elizabeth Lambert is suspended, after she was involved in rough play. While rough play is expected in sports such as football, rough play in soccer is relatively unheard of.

you know when I was in high school, 11 years ago, that shit happened. I was in marching band, played the clarinet and the clarinet section were jerks. I once had to walk backwards while the percussionists went through me, I had only a few seconds, if I missed my'beat' then they would run over me. Well the clarinet section didn't care and went VERY slowly. to the point when the percussionists ran over me. I literally fell to the ground flipping. It was like I was in gymnastics.

no one said "oh sorry" people laughed. SO the following year I joined percussion and I got even ;0).

Of course violence is never the answer and I don't believe in violence. When I got even, it had nothing to do with being violent. But then again band people are cool ;)

should she have been suspended? or not?
