lol....
I am a parent and 29 years old, I have lived in Europe and in Europe on t.v. certain things are not censored.. (and I am not a prude!! not by any means!) in fact they think that us Americans are prudes when it comes to t.v. censoring...
The Parents Television Council (PTC) has asked The CW Network to pull next Monday night’s episode of Gossip Girl, which will feature an NC-17 rated threesome featuring a trio of the show’s main characters which will air on November 9th, 2009.
oh and get this,
PTC President Tim Winter has written a letter to Dawn Ostroff, president of The CW, as well as every CW staff person.
he said,
“To include a storyline like this on a program that is expressly targeted to impressionable teenagers is reckless and irresponsible. We are asking each CW Network affiliate to use their common sense and preempt this episode,” Winter wrote in the letter obtained by TheWrap.com.
“PTC will monitor this episode very closely” and the group “will not hesitate to contact local and national advertisers; and if this program violates broadcast decency law, rest assured that our members will contact the Federal Communications Commission.”
Dear PTC,
stop being prudes, my god.... go to Europe, but if you do, you might faint because you will be shocked at some of the shows they put on t.v. like they say the word 'sex' and 'tits' and other things...
seriously, why does it bother you? I am a parent and it doesn't bother me, but then again I am an open minded person. This isn't the 1960s... we are in 2009, and I think it is funny how us t.v. is trying to push the limits.....to be more like European t.v.
JFK tried to get MARILYN MONROE & PIN UP GIRL JEANNE CARMEN into a Threesome back in the swinging 60's and he's the most beloved President of all time.
