Brian Wade Grant, NBA player has been diagnosed having Parkinson's Disease (PD).
Anyways, he is starting a Web site devoted to his fight with the neurological disorder. The 37-year-old Grant recently told ESPN.com that he was diagnosed in January with “young onset Parkinson’s” and began having tremors in his left hand last summer.
He consulted two other well-known Parkinson’s suffers, Michael J. Fox and Muhammad Ali, and quickly implemented several lifestyle changes.
“Just me believing in a positive spirit will take me farther in the long run,” Grant said.
what is Parkinson's Disease?
is a considered a Motor System Disorder that is characterized by a trembling in hands, rigidity, arms, legs, jaw, and face, or stiffness of the limbs and trunk; bradykinesia, or slowness of movement; and postural instability, or impaired balance and coordination.
there is no cure yet, someday there will be.... but for now people take medicine for that....
