you all remember the famous scene from Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal music video, where MJ and his dancers leaned forward at a 45-degree angle..... well now the truth about is here! ugh, my fantasy about this video is forever tarnished. lol.....


Michael Jackson and also his dancers used wires and harnesses in the 1988 music video. But when Jackson performed the song live, he had the help of special shoes. He did it was with special shoes that quickly slid into pegs that rise out of the floor at just the right moment. The shoes were actually patented in 1993. Also helping with the effect were rigid anklets that worked like ski boots if you think about it which supported Michael Jackson and his dancers when they leaned forward in that angle.
